Why a Wisconsin Union Victory Would Spell Trouble for Obama
Somehow, the prospect of a double-dip recession has only caused the left to double-down on its delusion. In their minds, Standard & Poor s downgrade is unrelated to the years of runaway federal spending and fiscal impropriety - it's merely a statement about the heated politics of the moment, driven largely by Tea Party divisiveness/obstructionism/extremism.

The Ugliness of Pro-Labor Union Forces on Display in Wisconsin
From using Nazi references to adorning the American Flag with political bumper stickers and using it as a poncho, the full extremism of the left was on display in Madison, Wisconsin this weekend. Rejecting any attempts at conveying a 'New Tone,' pro-labor union activists attempt to drown out speakers at the tea party rally at the [...]
Incoherent Lunatics Scream at Sarah Palin in Wisconsin
I've been following the institutional left for years. While I'm often disgusted, yet always entertained, by most of the radical left's behavior on camera, I'm never surprised by much. Until this. I have to say, when I first got wind of this video yesterday, I laughed. A LOT. I thought it was a joke. The RoaringLiberal and [...]
CBS News Sandbags Tea Party in Madison
I caught the CBS News evening report tonight for the first time in about 2 decades. They led off with a report of Sarah Palin's speech in Wisconsin, and they of course provided liberal spin. They claim there were far more liberals (i.e. union thugs) than Tea Partiers (claiming the thugs surrounded the smaller Tea Party crowd).
Rules for Wisconsin Radicals
Never acknowledge conservative victories as legitimate. Never concede defeat in legislative votes. There is always a cloud. Litigate everything. Rely on Dane County judges whenever possible. Elections only matter if liberals win. Shut down schools, bring legislative process to a halt, tie up the courts, extort businesses, try to overturn elections and then say "this is what democracy looks [...]
No Conspiracy In Wisconsin Supreme Court Election, Brookfield Vote Totals Posted On Election Night By AOL/Huffington Post Reporter
Conspiracy theorists are in full force with a Democratic congresswoman even asking the United States Attorney General to investigate the Waukesha County election returns that gave the Supreme Court race to David Prosser, but they might want to call up Arianna Huffington first. That's because Patch, a new media site in Brookfield that Huffington oversees, [...]
What Wisconsin’s Judicial Election Means
The ballots in the Wisconsin Supreme Court race show a relatively small difference between Justice David Prosser, the "conservative" incumbent, and JoAnne Kloppenburg, the leftist challenger. Yesterday, previously uncounted votes in Waukesha County swung the victory to Prosser by over 7,000 votes (out of almost a million and a half cast), though Kloppenburg earlier claimed victory by a much smaller margin

Three Wisc. Democrats Attempt to Charge Thousands of Dollars for Copies of Public Records
Three Dane County Democratic lawmakers want to charge a free market think tank more than $7,500 to comply with open record requests for correspondence regarding one legislative initiative. In a letter to several state lawmakers, dated March 24th, The MacIver Institute requested: Copies of all correspondence you have received or sent, (including, but not limited to, letters, [...]

Wisconsin Judicial Tyranny
Why did the state of Wisconsin bother to have an election last November? To look at the results, you would think the voters had spoken clearly. They elected a Republican governor and legislature, based on the promise that they would take strong action to balance the state budget and give schools and municipalities more control over their local budgets.

Hard to Believe: The New York Times on Wisconsin
NY Times piece, "Democrats See Wisconsin Loss as Galvanizing," includes a major factual error and otherwise describes the politics of the standoff in such a misleading way it's amusing. Kate Zernike and Monica Davey write: "Gov. Scott Walker's refusal to compromise with Democrats has given them a vivid way to demonstrate the point they tried unsuccessfully to make during the midterms: that Republicans are motivated by ideology, not just budget balancing."
Union mobocracy drowns out democracy in Wisconsin
Democracy could be found in Wisconsin this past week, but not among the screaming protesters running wild throughout the Wisconsin capitol. While Wisconsin's elected representatives -- minus 14 Democratic state senators who fled the state -- were working hard on the job the people sent them to do, thousands of screaming protesters provided America with a preview of the union mobocracy coming soon to a legislature, city council or school board near you.
Call to Cameras: Video Activists Needed in Wisconsin
Tomorrow, an army of very angry union thugs will be descending on the Wisconsin state capitol in Madison. They are furious that the Republican senators voted to pass the collective bargaining provisions of Gov. Scott Walker s budget reform proposal, without the fiscal portions that required a larger quorum.
Union Operatives’ Salaries Raise Eyebrows in Capitol
The MacIver News Service has examined hundreds of pages of public records available through the U.S. Department of Labor and via the online search site Guidestar and found that many of the most prominent union advocates in the state make well in excess of $100,000 a year in salary alone. For example, Marty Beil, executive director of American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees (AFSCME )Council 24 SEPAC, made $161,847 in 2008 according to the organization s Form 990. That s considerably more than the $144,423 a year Scott Walker makes as Wisconsin s Governor

Wis. GOP governor-elect makes bold jobs promise
Wisconsin Gov.-elect Scott Walker knew people would take note when he guaranteed 250,000 jobs would be created in his four years in office. Unlike other Republicans candidates who campaigned this fall on vague promises of turning around the economy and putting people back to work, Walker put out a specific number that allows for no fudging, and that portrayed him as a man with a plan.
